Traditional wireless spectrum allocation policy to each authorized wireless system is assigned a fixed band, but this allocation of spectrum resource utilization is very low, difficult to apply in today's rapid development of wireless communication situation. Therefore, cognitive radio as an innovative technology came into being able to make unauthorized network for data transmission networks lease the spectrum to the existing authorization, and quickly become the focus. This paper to reduce channel-aware and improve the utilization of idle spectrum for the target spectrum sensing in cognitive radio networks and spectrum access algorithm, a new spectrum sensing strategies and a combination of independent perception and cooperation perceived advantages of adaptive perception spectrum access strategy. This paper first introduces the latest research progress of cognitive radio background and scholars at home and abroad. Then focus summarizes the characteristics of cognitive radio network spectrum sensing and spectrum sharing technology, and an overview of some of the existing performance better spectrum management algorithm and its defects. Subsequent analysis of the SSC (Shared Spectrum Company) in recent years, the release of spectrum utilization survey report and spectrum hole measurement report. Use of spectrum holes in the actual network distribution characteristics of a simple channel idle probability-based spectrum sensing strategy. The strategy takes advantage of the the channel statistics idle probability of obtaining the optimized channel sensing sequence reducing spectrum detection time, reducing consumption of spectrum detection by the optimization of the sequence of channel sensing. Simulation results show that the policy to some extent, improve the efficiency of the two user perception. Followed by the author of cognitive radio spectrum access algorithm research, an adaptive sensing spectrum access strategy. Disadvantage of the policy will be independent of perception and cooperation perception combination of both to ensure that two users can initiate detection priority access channel, took advantage of the cooperative detection to improve the overall network throughput II, and to avoid the traditional perception could easily lead to the control channel congestion . Wherein in the separate detection procedure considered the cognitive transceiver hardware limitations perceived concept of the window, and further proposed to optimize perception criteria returns. In addition, in the spectrum competitive process, by increasing the channel information in the control information packet, such that a plurality of secondary users can simultaneously access channel for transmission. The theory and simulation results prove that this strategy can significantly improve the two network throughput and idle channel utilization.
