The IntelliSense , embedded computing , wireless communication , microprocessor technology development , the expansion of demand and people's perception of the objective physical world , to promote the rapid development of modern wireless sensor network technology . Currently , wireless sensor network technology is its unique charm to attract professionals from home and abroad , the impact of changing every aspect of human life . Wireless sensor networks have a remote self - monitoring capability, so that it can be widely used in the area of ??monitoring . In such applications, usually want the network to be able to work for as long as possible , so how to design energy-efficient MAC protocol for resource-constrained sensor nodes survive as long as possible to become an important research topic . Starting from the analysis of several classic MAC protocol , pointed out that the existing research considering the lack of load balancing and energy consumption , delay , a facultative Gu Shiyan and energy consumption of energy - saving MAC protocol , namely DAG-MAC . DAG-MAC protocol introduces a load balancing capabilities DAG structure for the goal to build a load-balancing the DAG to greatly extend the time of death of the first node , similar to D-MAC protocol and load balanced DAG the staggered scheduling mechanism , while increasing the trigger wake-up mechanism makes the sensor nodes when the load is light simply accounted frame length within 0.8% of the wake-up time listening state , enabling significant savings on the basis of guaranteeing low latency node energy ultimately to achieve the purpose of prolonging the network life . In this paper, a simulation the OMNeT platform DAG-MAC achieve and comparative analysis with the three protocols S-MAC, T-MAC -MAC . The experimental results show that the performance of load balancing DAG , DAG- MAC significantly better than the other three protocols .
