At present, the insurance company competition has reached a white-hot stage. In the modern society the enterprises competition intensifies day by day, the competition environment of the complexity and uncertainty are increasing, the talented person is the enterprise most precious resources, especially the financial institutions as one of the insurance company, because of its products are invisible and non essential sex makes the sale of its products, insurance agents, insurance company to become a a core part, the insurance company in China is still an emerging industry, in the development of manpower resource and management still exist many problems, from the requirements of modern enterprise far apart. How insurance sales team for the effective management is the modern insurance enterprises to continue to explore problems. How to effectively manage the insurance sales team, one can become their assessment, rewards and punishment, elimination and promoted important basis, one can help them carries on the analysis and the summary to improve performance.This paper in the domestic and foreign related performance appraisal based on the theory study, using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, theory and practice investigation, comparison of horizontal and longitudinal comparison method to insurance company sales staff performance appraisal problems were studied. Based on the insurance industry sales personnel performance status were investigated on the basis of analysis, inductive analysis of insurance sales staff characteristics, discusses the insurance industry sales staff performance appraisal of injustice, index quantification, performance appraisal system, performance appraisal effective utilization and other aspects of deficiency.
