With the rapid development of mobile communications, mobile communications business after another, the improving industry regulation policy, the increasingly fierce competition between the operator, that will bring grim challenge to domestic operators。It’s very important for telecom operators to break through the" bottleneck" and find a new way to development. China Mobile Group Guangdong Corporation, Ltd. Dongguan Branch (hereinafter referred to as Dongguan Mobile) as a branch of China Mobile Communication Corporation, needs Choose the suitable development strategy, keeps the leading position of the market, and makes due contributions to achieve strategic objective for China Mobile Communication Corporation.This paper is based on the instance of Dongguan Mobile, analysis of external environment of Dongguan communication industry and internal environment of Dongguan Mobile, and proposes Company’s development strategy. First, This paper analyzes the impact of new pattern of telecommunication competition and industry environment on the communications market in Dongguan with the help of PEST (Political、Economic、Social、Technological) analysis. Then analyses the current competitive situation of Dongguan Mobile through the Michael E. Porter’s competitive strategy model, analyses the internal and external factor, determines the company’s strengths and weaknesses of Dongguan Mobile, and lists the optional strategies by SWOT tool.After the analysis, this paper finds out Dongguan Mobile’s the strategic objective: Become an innovation growth of mobile communication service operators, and actively promote the innovation development strategy, maintain overall leading position. At last, discusses the competitive strategy of Dongguan Mobile, and provides a series of recommendations about strategy implementation.
