The Correlation between CT Perfusion Parameters and Microvessel Density in Peripheral of Hepatic Alveolar Echinococcosis

Objective: CT perfusion images of the observed liver alveolar hydatid disease characteristics , and to analyze the relationship of the lesion edge area of CT perfusion parameters and histopathological indicators to explore the value of CT perfusion in evaluation of liver alveolar hydatid disease state of the edge of the regional blood flow . Methods : 28 cases of liver alveolar hydatid patients line liver CT perfusion scans , lesion center , the lesion edge of the area and the surrounding liver tissue perfusion parameters , including blood flow (BF), blood volume ( BV ) , mean transit time (MTT), the surface capillary permeability ( PS ) , hepatic arterial perfusion fraction ( HAF ) , hepatic arterial perfusion (HAP), portal venous perfusion (PVP); 17 patients underwent surgery , observation of the fresh surgical specimens take the lesion edge determination of microvascular density ( MVD ) the regional HE staining and immunohistochemistry analysis of the CT perfusion various parameters and MVD . Results : 28 cases selected three groups of 31 independent liver alveolar hydatid lesions , lesion center lesion edge region and the surrounding liver tissue between the various perfusion parameters mean differences were statistically significant (P lt; 0.05 ) , where the lesion edge regional groups with the surrounding liver tissue group BF , MTT, PS , HAP, PVP parameter difference was statistically significant ( P lt; 0.05 ) , BV, HAF parameters between the difference was not statistically significant ( P gt ; 0.05 ) ; 17 patients the lesion edge area of CT perfusion parameters BF , HAF, HAP and MVD was positively correlated (P lt; 0.05). Conclusion: The liver alveolar hydatid lesion and surrounding liver tissue with the edge of infiltration , the regional perfusion than lesions in and around the liver tissue , CT perfusion imaging can reflect the state of the regional blood flow lesions infiltration range , has the higher the value of clinical application .
