Experimental Research on Ultrasound Assessment of Testis Survivorship after Testicular Artery Completely Blocked

Objective : color Doppler ultrasound , explore different times of the testicular artery is completely blocked testicular survival . Methods: 30 healthy male rabbits , body weight 2.0 to 2.5kg , were randomly divided into three groups A, B and C ( n = 10 ) . Right testicular artery completely blocked testis induced by ischemia and 3 h ( group A ) , 6 h ( group B ) and 12 hours ( C group) to unblock the blocking to do before and after the two-dimensional ultrasound and color Doppler spectrum observed testicular in real terms ( two - dimensional sonogram ) and testicular hemodynamics ( Doppler spectrum , the main indexes right testicular artery end-systolic blood flow velocity ( Vs ) , the highest end-diastolic blood flow velocity ( Vd ) and resistance index ( RI ) ) . In BFI and PDI mode , the contrast observed before and after blocking the testicular artery within the testicular blood vessels and blood supply . 10min cut side testicular tissue for biopsy , testicular tissue necrosis and ultrastructural changes were observed under light microscopy and transmission electron microscopy . Results: blocking the testicular artery animals in each group after the lifting of the testicular artery occlusion , testicular two-dimensional sonographic and testicular blood flow mechanics have the appropriate changes . Group A blocking testicular artery after 3 h , the PW ( Vs0.056 ± 0.015 , Vd 0.030 ± 0.010 , RI0.45 ± 0.11 ) , B group PW ( Vs0.040 ± 0.010 , Vd0.009 ± 0.001 RI0.55 ± 0.15 ) , C group PW (Vs0.011 ± 0.009, Vd0.006 ± 0.002, RI0.65 ± 0.15). Blocking the longer Vs , Vd reduce the RI increases , the more obvious contrast between group difference was statistically significant ( P lt ; 0.05 ) BFI mode testicular artery blood flow signal weakened or unclear , PDI testicular blood supply decreased or disappeared . Optical and electron microscopy , the testicular parenchyma cells varying degrees of necrosis . Conclusion: testicular blood supply disorder occurs , color Doppler ultrasound can detect testicular blood supply and determine whether the testis survival .
