In this thesis, the technology and application of planning rolling of next generation network is studied. The subject is from the rolling planning project of telecommunication planning enterprise. Besides, local service forecasting and rolling planning projects is presented for three years from the view of network planning and the local rolling plan of the core layer and access layer network is mainly planned.Firstly, in this thesis, we discuss the technology of local core network of next generation network and put emphasis on the rolling planning of the core layer of local network, including switching network, IP network and transmission network. The main content is as follows: we make use of the soft exchange technology to plan the traditional PSTN network and long distance telephone network; the IMS network, the network elements of BAC and the other things is deployed for the demands of local service, especially the IPTV; we track OTN, PTN, GPON and other new network technologies and put forward evolving plans.Secondly, in this thesis, we analyze the access technology of next generation network and present the rolling planning of the access layer of local network including wired access, CDMA wireless access and WIFI access. Combined with three nets fusion, light into copper back and FTTH, local topological structure and network elements is planned, and the second plane is adopted to carry different types of services. Furthermore, we deploy the home gateways which has multi-service access and ability of remote management, OLT, ONU, optical cable transfer box and other equipments.Finally, through the research of local rolling planning of next generation network, a feasible plan is provided transition from the local current network to next generation network.
