As a strategic technology of the 12th Five-Year Plan in our country, the internet of things technology has been applied in various areas such as transportation,logistics and smart city and plays an important part in normal life, industries and even in the army. By use of various information sensing appliance, the internet of things is such a net that can realize intelligent identification, positioning, tracking, monitoring and management of anything linked with the internet according to the agreed protocol. As an important part to link various information sensing appliance and existing system, the middleware for the internet of things has become a key link in the internet of things industry.This thesis focuses on the RFID middleware technology, first the relevant standards in the EPCglobal framework are analyzed, based on the characteristic of the SOA, a service centered RFID middleware system architecture is proposed which is composed of device management layer, data filtering layer and service process layer. Each module is analyzed as the same order when data enters the system. Based on the characteristic of the RFID data stream, the data is processed in the form of events; the system can provide service through standard interface to the upper application system, meanwhile service registry and service security are designed.The RFID middleware in this thesis is developed with the Java language, the RFID tag data filtering and aggregation is realized through the test, the readers and tags can be managed in the web console for the system, thus the basic requirement of the RFID middleware can be met.
