Objective: This paper aims to explore peripheral facial paralysis of liver depression pathogenic mechanisms and their role specific performance , clinical basis for the development of the theory of stagnation and pathogenic , clinical better guidance . Methods : 256 patients were from the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Department of Neurology ward inpatients from January 2009 to February 2010 . In 256 patients , male 122 cases , accounting for 47.7% ; female 134 cases , accounting for 52.3% ; minimum 19 years old , 91 years old . The shortest duration of 3 hours , the longest six days . 256 cases of patients with peripheral facial paralysis in accordance with the diagnostic criteria , exclusion criteria to syndrome type 78 patients due to liver depression SPSS16 statistical software for statistical analysis , analysis of indicators , including gender, age , the incidence month . Results: 1256 patients due to liver depression due to surface paralysis in 78 cases, accounting for 30.5 % of the total , ages concentrated in the 45 to 60 age group ; women in 48 patients , 30 males , female patients than male . 2 Liver Depression facial paralysis patients suffering from underlying disease , suffering from hypertension accounted for 8.98 % of the total , higher than the 8.20% of the cold type , lower than the empty context , pathogenic wind into the medium-sized 10.94% ; risk of coronary heart disease , cerebral infarction 2.73% of the total, respectively , 1.95% , higher than the cold type 1.95% , 0.39% , lower than the context of emptiness , pathogenic wind into the medium of 3.52% , 2.34 % ; suffering from type 2 diabetes accounts for 7.81% of the total , higher than the context of emptiness , pathogenic wind into medium-sized 6.64% , 4.30% cold type . Conclusion: the cause , the surface of liver depression caused paralysis to occupy a considerable proportion in clinical work should be taken seriously enough . 2 Liver Depression facial paralysis in patients with type 2 diabetes is higher than the other type . 3 Liver Depression facial paralysis , regardless of the month the disease, more women than men . The Liver Depression facial paralysis is more difficult to cure. 5 in the treatment should be liver qi stagnation , to reconcile the collaterals .
