With the rapid development of information technology, the internet plays an important role more and more in human society. Many enterprises and organizations have established their own official Web portal sites to issue their product information, give them publicities or to develop businesses on line. Most people also obtain information in terms of their requirements by browsing a various of web Web potals’ contents. Lots of facilities have been brought to human work and daily life from Web potals on the internet.Security problems of the internet, including of a prevent alteration problem for Web Pages’ contents on Web potals, have been highly taken into account by many researchers of information security and application technology, so a prevent alteration problem for Web Pages’ contents is valuable project to be researched and practiced. Some relevance techniques to prevent alteration of Web Pages’ contents have been processed to research and practice in this paper.The primary studied work and innovations in this paper are summarized as the followings:1、The basic knowledge of the relevance techniques to prevent alteration of Web Pages’ contents on a Web Portal has been studied, including the attack methods of hackers, and the existing technology for protecting website.2、A technical solution to realize a software for preventing alteration of Web pages, which is based the tomcat filter technology and the timing cycle scanning technology, has been studied and proposed in this paper. A detection strategy is defined and designed for the purpose of making the two technologies to be complementary and less time-consuming in monitoring web page. The software architecture is given as well, including the designing and coding of the key module.3、The digital digest algorithm is studied and adopted to check the integrity of the web pages in this paper. Several algorithms, including MD5, SHA, RIPEMD and CRC, have been analyzed. Then, the method to check the integrity of the web pages by choosing the most suitable digital digest algorithm according to the size of web pages has been proposed in this paper.4、The digital signature technology is studied and adopted to improve the security of the backup of web pages. The truthfulness and consistency of the backup can be assured by the public key cryptography and digital digest algorithm respectively.In the end, the software has been tested in this paper. The testing result shows that the software to prevent alteration of web pages, which is proposed, studied and realized in this paper, can be used for monitoring websites. The altered web page can be discovered and recovered in time, and the security and truthfulness of issued information of web page contents can be protected better.
