Globalization, knowledge economy and the context of ecological civilization , the Succession and Development of History and Context has become a topic of concern to people around the world, rich cultural and historical information on the Type-Ancient-Town Scenic Spots are increasingly widespread concern. It becomes the common responsibility for the contemporary people on how to maintain the inherent characteristics on the Type-Ancient-Town Scenic Spots, to highlight the national characteristics, local characteristics, and for the traditional of the chinese civilization. Purpose of this paper aims to explore the countermeasures of succession and development for the history and context on the Type-Ancient-Town Scenic Spots, in order to guide the healthy development of Type-Ancient-Town Scenic Spots in our country.Research method of combining theoretical analysis with empirical analysis is used. Firstly is to clarify the meanning of the thesis subjects; Secontly is to comprehensively analyse to the elements and features of history and context on Type-Ancient-Town Scenic Spots, and the problems on the process of succession and development of the history and context, and then the thoery and experience at home and abroad integrated to the theoretical exploration of the succession and development of the history and context on the“Type-Ancient-Town Scenic Spots”This paper lays stress on the theory integrated with practice. A scenic area of Tongli considered as a typical Type-Ancient-Town Scenic Spot, mentioned in the fourth and fifth chapter, as an example, to further discuss the ways of succession and development on history and context, the theoretical study replenished on the basis of the practice, and the feasibility validated on countermeasures of succession and development.
