This paper embarks from the light triangulation basic principle, and has analyzed the influence of several kinds of primary factors on measurement accuracy thoroughly, such as the slope of the measured object plane, the surface roughness and the gloss as well as the color, the laser spot random noise and so on. The corresponding improvement means and measures from the software or the hardware are proposed. In this foundation it has completed the CCD driving circuit design based on the Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD), making the exposition time of CCD achieve automatic adjustment function. Between through to the multianalysis of the probe’s optical system, it has obtained the system measurement accuracy, the resolution and the external dimensions of the probe with the received lens’ focal length, the constraints between the incidence angle and the working distance. The subject carries on the theoretical calculation and the generalized analysis with the aid of the Matlab to these constraints, finally proposing a series of reliable system structure parameter. It has considered the measurement range and resolution in phase as well as reduced the external dimensions of the probe greatly. In satisfies in the real-time measurement reliable and under the precision premise, it enhances the measurement system’s overall performance and application ability. What the paper carries on finally is the system debugging and demarcation, and it has made the corresponding error analysis, bringing out the system uncertainty.
