Optical feedback self-mixing interference effect refers to the laser output light by an external object reflecting or scattering , wherein a part of the light is fed back to the laser cavity , the feedback light carries information about the external object , the light phase mixed with the cavity , the modulated laser the output power of the phenomenon . As a new type of interferometry , optical feedback self-mixing interference system with its simple and compact structure , easy to quasi- straight , etc. Geometrical , mechanical and semiconductor laser parameters are widely used in the measurement . Optical feedback level factor is used to characterize the level of feedback level , is an important parameter for optical feedback self-mixing interferometry system , which directly affects the self-mixing interference signal characteristics . Therefore , the study and measurement of optical feedback level has important theoretical and practical significance . This paper studies the optical feedback self-mixing interference level factor measurement feedback system , the papers were based on the optical feedback self-mixing interference signal hysteresis phenomena and interference fringe amplitude by the factor effect of feedback level features two optical feedback level factor measurement method, and the simulation and experimental verification . The main contents include the following aspects: First, according to the optical feedback self-mixing interference effects of the basic theory model , by solving the the phase equation under different levels of feedback to discuss operational modal characteristics of the semiconductor laser . Second, the simulation analysis of the characteristics of the different levels of feedback self-mixing interference signal , and the use of optical feedback self - mixing signal interference fringe amplitude level of feedback characteristics proposed a method to measure the level of feedback factor to discuss the impact of the accuracy of the algorithm several factor .
