Objective:To Investigated after femoral nerve (FN) ligation, three methods that are the removal suture, are the removal suture and external neurolysis, and are the resection FN at ligation and end-end suture were used to repair the result in different period. The methods that were repaired the ligation of iatrogenic peripheral nerve will provide reference suggestion at clinic.Methods:After operated model of FN ligation, sixty mice were divided three groups; every group was draw-off twenty from the sixty mice. In the experimental sides, three methods that are the removal suture (A group),are the removal suture and external neurolysis (B group), and are the resection FN at ligation and end-end suture (C group) were used to repaired the ligation of the FN.respectively, in the immediate (0 term),1month (1 term),3months (2 term) and 5months (3 term);in the control sides,the FNs did not untreated to use three methods.Postoperation 3months.the adult mice were measured the degrees of the foot-base angle (FBA) and the heels-tail angle (HTA) of locomotor function by moving images, the electrophysiological studies and wet weight, throughput and section area of myelinated nerve fibres.and section area of muscle fibers in quadriceps femoris muscle were determined at previous described times. The data were analyzed to use the SSPS11.5 statistics software.Results:1. The images that the locomotor function of the mice moved were measured the FBA and the HTA.unit:degree, The FBA in 0 and 1 term were compared their degrees in 2、3 term to get 0 term and 1 terms<2、3terms (P<0.05). The three groups of the A、B、C groups were compared the FBA to get A<B<C(P<0.05). The FBA were compared the A group and C group in 0、1 term to gain A<C(P<0.05).The HTA in 0 term were compared with their degrees in 2、3 term to get 0 term<2、3terms (P<0.05). The three groups of the A、B and C groups were compared with the HTA to get A<B<C(P<0.05). The HTA were compared with the A group and C group in 0、1 term to gain A<C(P<0.05).2. The wet weight of the quadriceps femoris muscle (QFM):the normal side is greater than the repair side of used three methods (P<0.05).the wet weight of the QFM were greater than in 0 term with 2 term and 3 term (P<0.05).3. The conduction velocity of the femoral nerve (FNCV):The FNCV were compared the removal suture sides with the end-end suture repair sides to get A>C (P<0.05), The FNCV in 0 term were greater than A with B to gain A>C (P<0.05).4. The action potential of femoral nerve (FNAP):the normal side of the FNAP is greater than the external neurolysis and the end-end suture repair to get normal>B、C (p >0.05), in 0 term the removal suture side of the FNAP is greater than the external neurolysis side and the end-end suture repair side to get A>B、C (P<0.05),the removal suture side and the external neurolysis side are greater than the end-end suture side in 2 term to gain A、B>C (P<0.05).5. The count of muscle fiber of the quadriceps femoris (QFMFC):the QFMFC were no significant difference in the normal side and the used repair of three methods sides (P> 0.05).the QFMFC in 0 term and 1 term were greater than it in 3 term (P<0.05).the QFMFC of the removal suture side and the external neurolysis side were greater than the end-end suture repair side in 0 term to get A、B>C (P<0.05).6. The thruput of the femoral nerve (FNT):the FNT in the removal suture side were more high than it in the end-end suture repair side and the external neurolysis side (P< 0.05),the FNT in 0 term and 1 term were more high than it in 3 term(P<0.05),the FNT in the external neurolysis side were more high than that in the removal suture side and the end-end suture repair side in 2 term (P<0.05).Conclusion:The results were the best to use the removal suture method at early term, especially immediate repairing, were secondly the external neurolysis method, and were the worst to the end-end suture repair after femoral nerve ligation; the results that three methods repaired were the same after the ligation of femoral nerve in the middle and the late (>=3 months).
