Miniature circuit breakers aJ’e one kind of switching elements in low voltage distributionnetwork which belongs to the protective electric appliance,they aJ’e mainly used in householdand industrial buildings and distribution line terminal,the level of reliability directly impactsthe normal power supply of household and industrial installations and the safe operation ofdistribution line equipment If the reliability does not meet the need of production and life,especially instantaneous protection character,they will bring big troubles to the users andeven result in extremely serious economic loss So it is significant to study the instantaneousprotecting reliabilityIn this paper,the instantaneous character detected system of miniature circuit breakerbased on virtual instrument technology is described in depth At first,it introduces thereliability detected technology of miniature circuit breaker,the virtual instrument technologyand LabVIEW development platform Secondly,it elaborates the hardware component,thefunctions of the component units and the working principle about the instantaneous characterdetected system of miniature circuit breaker in detail,during the instantaneous characterdetection it also adopts a detected circuit of phase selection closing to reduce the generation oftransient current Thirdly,on the base ofthis proposes LabVIEW software design idea,then usethat develop the software system ofthe detected system to realize the function of exploder userinterface,data acquisition,parameter modification and amendment,save the query of therelevant test data Finally,the paper points out several aspects of detected accuracy and carrieson the correction of the detected accuracy Result proves that the miniature circuit breakerinstantaneous character detected system which adopted by the virtual instrument technologyhas steady performance,easy operation,rich functions and it can be applied and extended inmany industrial fields
