Because the river estuary and ocean convergence zone, plays Hohai connections, the special role of the transition. The resulting mixture of estuarine salt freshwater estuary density flow not only affects the estuary sediment movement characteristics and subaqueous delta development, but also affects the water quality and water estuaries developed jointly optimal scheduling problem, thereby affecting the estuary city development, so to achieve the sustainable development of estuarine areas, solve estuarine ecological and environmental protection, pollutant dispersion purification, irrigation and urban water supply and other freshwater resources, ports and waterways and estuaries renovation and construction of beach reclamation and other issues, it is necessary to grasp estuaries and salt water movement characteristics of freshwater mixing properties. Freshwater river flows generally by the upper estuary waters, ocean saltwater intrusion from the lower door of the population, due to the role and molecular diffusion flow turbulence, salt would have a blend between freshwater, namely mixing phenomenon. Salt mixed freshwater estuary hydrodynamic processes are an important part of the process. Estuaries and salt water flow by mixing freshwater estuary geometry, tidal range, the upstream freshwater flow, winds and waves, and many other factors, and has a size dry season flood tide and change cycle. Under normal circumstances, the upstream runoff, depth and strength of tidal effects play a major role. In this paper, for the semidiurnal tide, river runoff, etc. generalization based on a systematic physical model tank tests on the test flow characteristics based on the analysis to study the freshwater estuary salt mixing characteristics, and analysis the tidal range, the upstream runoff, water depth, salinity estuarine tidal waters off the coast of salt freshwater mixing characteristics. The main contents include: 1. Through an extensive literature review, systematically expounded the tidal waters, salt water movement and mixing of freshwater research methods and abroad on the estuary area of ??freshwater flow characteristics and mixing properties of salt Research. (2) For homogeneous water estuary tidal waters, tidal cycle was conducted 45min, upstream runoff is 01 / s, 11 / s, 21 / s, tidal range is 2.7cm, 3.6cm, 4.5cm, depth of 10cm, 13cm , 16cm combinations of the series of tests, a total of 8 groups, each of the physical model of the flow velocity at the measuring point is measured. 3 velocity measured according to the test data, gives a different upstream runoff, different tidal range, each measuring point under different water depths velocity vs. time. Analysis of the tidal range, depth, tidal estuary upstream runoff waters for water movement. 4 For estuaries, tidal cycle is carried out 45min, off the coast of salinity of 4.5 ‰, 8 ‰, 12 ‰, 19.2 ‰, upstream runoff of 0.51 / s, 11 / s, 21 / s, tidal range is 2.7cm , 3.6cm, 4.5cm, depth of 10cm, 13cm, 16cm combinations of the series of tests, a total of 13 groups, each of the physical model, the salinity salinity measuring point is measured. 5 salinity measured according to the test data are given during salinity tidal fluctuations of salinity measurement points during the curve, the upper, middle and lower reaches of the measuring point underwater 1 cm, underwater 3cm, underwater 5.5 cm and underwater 8cm average salinity at the upstream runoff, tidal, offshore salinity curve. 6 analyzes the tidal waters of the estuary area of ??vertical and horizontal distribution of salinity and upstream runoff, tidal, water depth, tidal estuary waters off the coast of salinity on the middle and lower reaches of the measuring point on the vertical distribution of salinity.
