College Teachers’ Pre-job Training Mode Research Based on Network Learning Community

With the rapid development of higher education in China, the number of higher school teachers is sharply increased. How to make these new teachers to adapt to the needs of university teaching and the changing role as soon as possible are completely the key of success or failure of the higher education in China. The pre-job training bears the responsibility to help university teachers completing the changing role which is the first step to be more professional.However, the pre-job training of university teachers in China is still mainly based on the theoretical study which neglects the necessity of the cultivation of the teachers’ teaching skills. In this case, not only the effect of training is not obvious, but also seriously dampened students’enthusiasm. In order to solve these problems, a new mode of pre-job training is pushed to the foreground which can do autonomous learning even coordinate and communicate with others in the network environment by using network tools to construct a learning community. In the network environment, the students form a learning community to share and discuss various teaching resources that teacher provides. Moreover, students can carry out collaborative learning and autonomous learning around themes under the guidance of teachers. With various thought sparks together, students complete the construction of knowledge and training of skills.This research is an effective attempt to the reform of university teachers’ pre-job training. From the actual conditions of current higher school pre-job training, the author introduces network community which is a mature tool in both research and application aspects into the pre-job training. In this thesis, the author expounds the construction, application and evaluation of the new pattern. In the course of the study, the author exploits the Moodle learning platform deeply by extension development. On the basis of practical application, the author adds some personalized Settings, and provides better teaching resources through the use of video plug-ins to add video cases. Based on Constructivism Theory and other related theories, the author designs the pre-job training teaching mode based on the network learning community and puts it into practice; furthermore the author does some research on the practical application of the tracking interviews, investigation and analysis. From the practice, we may safely draw the conclusion that the pre-job training of university teachers based on network learning community platform is a successful exploration.
