Ultrasonic guided wave detection technology in recent years the rise of a new non-destructive testing methods , this detection technique is applicable to a very wide range , can be used to detect plate , pipe, bar and bending deformation of the workpiece . This detection technique has a detection speed , the detection distance and detection of a wide range of advantages, but it can be a point to get a guided wave excitation line defect situation, so this detection method is to save testing time , making detection the efficiency is greatly improved the paper studied the ultrasonic guided wave formation in the principle, conditions, and propagation characteristics of electromagnetic ultrasonic guided waves and conducted in-depth research , deduced the process of electromagnetic ultrasonic transducers complete equations and boundary conditions . Through the electromagnetic ultrasonic transducer coils and permanent magnets study devised an effective electromagnetic ultrasonic guided waves for generating an electromagnetic transducer model and apply it to the paper simulation . Using ANSYS finite element software under the horizontal and vertical magnetic field, the magnetic field of electromagnetic ultrasonic guided waves four processes were simulated. Mainly the bias magnetic field of electromagnetic ultrasonic , eddy current , Lorentz force and electromagnetic ultrasonic guided waves to study the electromagnetic simulation ultrasonic guided wave propagation visualization . The simulation shows that the electromagnetic ultrasonic meaningful portion of the magnetic field strength of the magnetic field is very small ; coil beneath the eddy current and the maximum Lorentz force , and the swirl direction opposite to the excitation current frequency . Through all the particle displacement at a time variation and individual variation with time particle displacement can visually see the electromagnetic ultrasonic guided waves in a very short time, the rapid decay . In the vertical magnetic field of the electromagnetic guided wave simulation , through the study coil spacing, distance and frequency of the coil off the thick plot of the conversion efficiency , proposed three improved transducer efficiency. Through the horizontal magnetic field and the vertical magnetic field simulation of electromagnetic ultrasonic guided wave comparison , obtained under the same conditions of the horizontal magnetic field parameters of the electromagnetic ultrasonic transducer conclusion higher conversion efficiency .
