Comparative Study about Diagnostic of the Coronary Artery Diseasre between Dual-Source Computed Tomography Coronary Angiography and Conventional Coronary Angiography

Objective To evaluate the dual-source CT ( dual source CT , DSCT ) coronary imaging for diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis accuracy . Select the period from March 2009 to October 2010 in our hospital , 83 patients with suspected or confirmed coronary artery disease patients ( 57 men , 26 women , average age 61.2 years ), first the DSCT coronary artery imaging examination after a knowledgeable coronary angiography (coronary angiography, CAG) examination . Coronary angiography as the gold standard to assess the the DSCT diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis sensitivity , specificity , positive predictive value and negative predictive value . SPSS 13.0 statistical software for the difference of the two inspection results row pairing χ ~~ 2 test detected DSCT and CAG both tests methods in the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis ; Kappa consistency test and do assessment DSCT and CAG check the method in the diagnosis of coronary artery relationship . Results in 83 patients the DSCT coronary displayed diameter ≥ 1.5 mm segment 1133 1111 coronary segments can be evaluated to assess the rate of 98.06% . Coronary segments for the research unit , DSCT found that the sensitivity of coronary artery stenosis : 90.25% ( 213 / 236 ) , specificity : 97.83% ( 856 / 875 ), positive predictive value : 91.81% ( 213 / 232 ) , negative predictive value : 97.38% ( 856 / 879 ) . Coronary artery stenosis detection accuracy rate of 87.30% . Paired χ ~ 2 test results show the two methods of DSCT and CAG difference was not statistically significant ( P = 0.643 ) in the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis . Meanwhile , Kappa consistency test found DSCT and CAG two methods in the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis grading good agreement ( k = 0.886) . Conclusion DSCT the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis with higher accuracy , can be used as the preferred method of screening for coronary heart disease risk populations .
