A Survey on Teachers’ Job Satisfaction in Middle Schools of Deqing County

Education is the fundamental of a country’s future, while teachers are the essence of the teaching. To establish a well-informed and smart-ordered system of teachers plays a significant role in the development of education, even the development and prosperity of the whole nation. The career satisfaction level mainly dominates the personal qualities of teachers and the stableness of the system. Naturally, it’s necessary for us, for our whole nation, to concern about the career satisfaction of our teachers. The career satisfaction of teachers varies with time and location. Meanwhile, teachers in college, high school and primary school have their own characteristic, hence, the career satisfaction among them features differently. Thus, it’s necessary to study the career satisfaction during a specific time, location and phase.High school teacher is the backbone of elementary education, the link to bridge the college education and primary school education. With the gradual conduction of reform of elementary education and development of Educationally-strong in Guangdong Province, the working condition and environment for high school teachers in Deqing County has changed a lot. Whether they satisfy with current situation is what we should look into. Upon the study of Career Satisfaction of High School Teacher in Deqing County, we can specify the aspects of satisfaction and un-satisfaction, and the detailed factors result these different phenomena. Only by doing this, can we take corresponding measures and strategy to enhance their career satisfaction, hence strength work efficiency and boost the improvement of efficiency of education management.This paper based on referencing and sorting the already exist documents created a questionnaire named investigation upon the career satisfaction of high school teachers. This investigation has been taken out among 217 teachers in seven high schools of Deqing County, Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province. The data was analyzed using the SPSS technique. This paper aims to know the current situation of high school teacher in Deqing County, hence propose some constructive suggestion and strategy so as to improve the career satisfaction of high school teacher in Deqing County and finally enhance the development of education in Deqing County.
