College counselors serve as the backbone of the performers in college ideological and political work. The work performance and effect decides the talent cultivation quality of colleges. The thesis presents an exploration of evaluating college counselors performance assessment with scientific and objective pattern of performance evaluation. It’s considered as a necessary means to strengthen the construction of college counselors and an effective measure to construct and improve the college ideological and political work. The construction of six sorts of common methods of assessing college counselors performance is reflected in the thesis, and the innovation snot of the thesis lies in that it takes mathematical tool applied in the pattern of performance evaluation with regard to the particularity of college counselors. In order to ensure scientific process of establishing the assessment pattern, the thesis analyzes the essential elements, standard and principle of college counselors performance assessment, then points out the rules for the cultivation process, and constructs the detailed performance assessment indicators system. As contrasting six sorts of mathematical modeling measures with broad scope of application in comprehensive evaluation, it is claimed that the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation approach is best suited in the study of college counselors performance assessment for its characteristics, like easy operation and high practicability. Within the process of model construction, it is a key link in determination of weight vector among various evaluation factors, which directly influences the objective fairness in constructing model. There exist numerous methods to determine the weight vector of index, while the present thesis combines and takes advantages of Delphi method and Analytic Hierarchy Proce in obtaining weight and quantifying value of each index with intent to ensure the rationality of the evaluation result. To prove the correctness and practicability of the model, the thesis measures the performance assessment for the full-time counselors on the job in a certain college. The assessment results is in accordance with the performance in their daily work, and the situation of college counselors is accurately reflected in the model, moreover, the comprehensive performance assessment results are accepted as true and valid. The construction of college counselors performance assessment model provides a basis of self-examination and self-correction for counselors performance assessment, and makes the target of ideological and political education achievable, what’s more, it is also necessary to realize scientific ideological and political education.
