An Investigation Study on Quality of Life and Related Factors in Hubei Province

Objective: expectations as the average human life expectancy increases, more and more attention to the quality of life. The purpose of this study is to understand the quality of life of urban and rural residents in Hubei Province, and further explore its related risk factors, provide targeted basis to further improve the health policy to improve the population quality of life. Method: using quota sampling method to extract urban and rural total number of 3355 people, the use of the survey population survey. All the statistical analysis with the statistical software SPSS 12.0 and SAS 8.2 is complete. Description of the sample using parametric and non-parametric methods, variables are continuous variables and categorical variables, continuous data were compared using T-test and variance analysis, the non-normal distribution and heterogeneity of variance was used to compare the χ2 test. Quality of life factor analysis using generalized linear regression model. The relationship of health-related quality of life scores of each dimension of the sleep condition score using canonical correlation analysis. Show the relationship between the quality of life related factors using structural equation modeling. Results: the quality of life of each dimension score in different gender and age group, education level, marital status, living situation, occupational distribution are significant with differences; different demographic characteristics of sleep score with the the fatigue score the distribution have significant differences ; quality of life compared with the norm of each dimension score have a significant difference (p lt; 0.0001); generalized linear regression model analysis, place of residence, gender, age, occupation, education level, marital status, quality of life related factors living partner, sleep score and fatigue score; canonical correlation analysis of subjective sleep quality, sleep disorders, and the general state of health is negatively correlated. Structural equation model, the coefficient of fatigue and sleep on quality of life standards are -0.25 and -0.17, lifestyle impact on quality of life, standard coefficient -0.13, marital status affect the quality of life is -0.82, social status The quality of life is -0.48. Visible way of life, fatigue, sleep, marital status, and social status have an impact on quality of life. Conclusion: compared with the norm, Hubei Province, the quality of life of urban and rural residents score a significant difference in the quality of life influenced by many factors, including fatigue and sleep position is an important factor affecting the quality of life. Should promote good work habits, reduce fatigue, improve sleep quality, thereby improving the quality of life.
