On the Internality and Transcendence of Mencius＇Thoughts

Mencius’Thoughts in ancient China, an important part of Chinese philosophy, its core and essence of which is the human mind of four-terminal and theory of original goodness of human nature. Category of The Xin(心) and Xing(性) theory belongs to pure philosophy category, We think about that it is combinated with theory of "internality and transcendence", which belongs to the same philosophical category, the purpose is to complish a theory induction.There are four parts to talk about the internality and transcendence of Mencius’Thoughts. The first part shows the definition of the internality and transcendence, the relationship between the two concepts, which can be unified in the thoughts of Mencius. The second part is to analyze the internality and transcendence of Mencius’Thoughts from the aspects of Xin and Xing. The paper talks about the internality and transcendence of Mencius’Thoughts is based on "Mencius", which has two parts, the one is the transcendence of the congenital Xin and Xing. The other is that we can make our best efforts in slef-cultivation to achieve the transcendence.The third part discusses how to reach "the unity of human and nature " by Yang Xin(养心), Yang Qi(养气), and self-communion. The fourth part is about ideal states of Mencius’Thoughts, which are internality and transcendence.
