China's people's armed police force is the nature of criminal justice and law enforcement forces , charged with fighting crime and protecting the people of the important duties. With the development of society and the advancement of science and technology , modern crime be many new features that make police work is facing serious challenges ; policing sudden , dangerous, emergency , high responsibility and other characteristics, such grass-roots police professional practitioners suffer more than ordinary psychological pressure . High pressure is a common cause of long-term physiological and psychological Policemen among stress response , resulting in decreased work efficiency , the error rate increased , reducing the police force combat . Therefore , the timely awareness, understanding and effectively respite grassroots police occupational stress , improve their job satisfaction and work efficiency is an urgent need to address the issue. This study used questionnaires to 571 grassroots Wuhan Public Security Bureau police station as subjects, the use of police occupational stress scale , simple Coping Inventory and Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale questionnaire explores the Wuhan City Police occupational stress , coping style and the relationship between job satisfaction . Studies main conclusions are as follows: ( 1 ) Wuhan police occupational stress in the police services , there are significant differences , the window class police services , criminal investigation police and security class class police pressure is higher than the occupational class community police occupational stress , in the sense of responsibility to others dimensions there are significant gender differences, females than males ; ( 2 ) in response mode , the sex , the police kind of significant difference exists between ; ( 3 ) in job satisfaction , different kinds of police officers there are significant differences between , among them, the police Criminal Investigation class extrinsic satisfaction and intrinsic satisfaction were higher, male police intrinsic satisfaction and extrinsic satisfaction were higher than female police ; ( 4 ) occupational stress in \satisfaction, there was a significant positive correlation ; \degrees , there were significant negative correlations ;
