The nature of geographical indication is a private right of intellectual property. Our have the obligation to protect geographical indication Since China joined the "Paris Convention". geographical indication is one kind of Intellectual property,it protects the identifications rather than products. The protection of geographical indications showing the status of implementation of several aspects of the characteristics: First, the geographical indication registered in China involved mainly in agricultural products; The second is the apply for protection of geographical indication is expanding and the scope of product varieties are increased, but more Geographical indication is not received an application for business use; Third, the government protect of geographical indication’s is not enough. The awareness of geographical indication’s economic benefits to most of the consumers and producers are low; The fourth is in some regional, The owner of the protection of geographical indications overkill against other operators fair use of geographical indications. In this paper, I investigated two regions: Jingdezhen and Wuyuan area .while composite materials of other parts of the protection of geographical indication. Finally, the article gives several suggestions: First, we should strengthen the Industry Association for the protection of geographical indications; Second, since the protection of geographical indication is too high, We should consider all of geographical indications and the balance of public interest.
