The resources scheduling of the container yard firmly related to the operational efficiency of the port. Especially, nowadays, along with the rapid growth of the container traffic volume, the load of the container yard become increasingly high. Some ports begin to use the mix pile up mode. However,taking the mix pile mode, will increase the shift stowage ratio, add the operation volume of various blocks, which make the operation of the yard more complex. Obviously, the key to the problem is how to reduce the negative effects of the mix pile mode, which has become a paramount concerned problem in the academic circles and numerous ports.This article is just base on such a problem to make a study of resources scheduling of the yard in the mode of mix pile.Firstly, building a model, which distribute the assignment to various blocks, and gives the solution algorithm, which aims to balance the operation volume among the blocks, so that the use ratio of the handling facility will be increased.Secondly, building a model, which distribute the assignment to the specific container bay, and gives the solution with Heuristic algorithm, for the purpose of reducing the container shift stowage ratio and improve the working efficiency of the handling facility.Thirdly, building a model, which adds the condition that trying to satisfy the limitation of stop time for the container trucks in the yard, etc, and give the solution with Simulated Annealing, hoping to reduce the unnecessary operate time of the RTG, lower the cost, and increase the operate efficiency.Lastly, taking examples with the models and algorithms that motioned above, writing the related MATLAB program, and with them it has reduce the negative effects of the mix pile mode in a certain extent, which has dropped the shift stowage ratio and cost, meanwhile, increased the use ratio and operate efficiency of the yard.
