LED (light emitting diode ) since the 1960s, after the advent of technology development, 90 white LED R \u0026 D success . As the LED energy-saving, environmental protection and long life, etc. , so the LED is expected to become a new generation of lighting technology, has been widely used in various fields, especially lights, tunnel lights and other public lighting systems. This paper analyzes the LED's operating characteristics are discussed on the basis of the LED drive mode . The LED drive mode with AC drive and DC drive two kinds , the first analysis of the feasibility of AC drive , and designed a AC-driven LED lamp, it is tested summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of AC LED driver . DC drives are discussed in the next switching power supply works in the flyback converter , based on a precise adjustment of precision op amp power supply output current , and joined the ATmega8 microcontroller designed dimming system . In the dimming power and ATmega8 microcontroller system , based on the thesis of the system hardware and software features of the expansion , the design of high-power LED intelligent control system. Hardware, we joined the temperature sensor , memory and RS485 interface circuits, software , we prepared a RS485 communication protocol designed intelligent control system software, can realize temperature detection, fault detection, intelligent dimming , remote dimming functions. System commissioning and operation results show that the design of high-power LED thesis intelligent control system can achieve an accurate temperature detection , fault detection, intelligent dimming and remote dimming function, and to stabilize and reliable operation to meet the design requirements for in the LED lights, tunnel lighting system.
