With the reform of the electricity market , power generation companies have increasingly recognized Power Plant monitoring systems, the aim is to achieve economic operation of power plants and reduce electricity costs , competitive advantage in the marketplace . Plant Supervisory Information System to distributed control system as the basis for economic performance and improve the overall efficiency of power generation companies for the purpose . It implements a full range of factory management and control integration for the realization of the plant 's overall efficiency and stability , the fundamental purpose of economic operation and lay a solid foundation. System from Honeywell's actual project , elaborated SIS concept and production management according to the actual needs of plants gives a general scheme of the system . Depth study of the SIS system structure , functional requirements , network architecture . Papers from the application point of view , gives the SIS system in a power plant in the positioning of information systems , the use of objects and main functions ; from a computer network, the detailed description of the network needs analysis, network design principles , the network structure . The composition of the system from SIS introduced OPC applications in data acquisition and PHD database technology . Advanced applications in the SIS to elaborate multi-layered architecture of the software system method , the relevant functional module design and use of key technologies . PHD thesis real-time database platform, combined . Net Remoting distributed technology , developed a Remoting server as a smart data access layer. Such a platform similar to the server can reduce the SIS implementation , installation , configuration, and maintenance information on the burden of steps , increased data security , improving information sharing to facilitate the development of the upper program . And for running applications on top of it to provide authentication , logging, warning and monitoring operational status service . Smart data layer can be seen as a computer motherboard provides system monitoring and data access aspects of the service , which runs on a variety of applications as the expansion slot on the board to achieve their different functions. Finally, the article has summarized the work done , and the future work are discussed.
