ECM is an important means of modern warfare in the modern battlefield increasingly prominent role . However, due to electronic countermeasures electromagnetic environment is very complex, weaponry dependence on the environment is relatively high , so the combat exercises has obvious limitations. And combat exercises consuming relatively long, relatively large overhead , drill results significantly affected by environmental factors , the results can not be repeated exercises . In recent years , as computer technology and simulation technology, the rapid development of computer simulation technology to build realistic virtual battlefield environment for electronic warfare simulation is a practical and flexible and convenient avenue of research . This article is an electronic visual simulation of combat troops trained as a starting point for electronic warfare theory as the core, discussed the battlefield through virtual reality technology to build 3D viewing system approach and were implemented on a computer . This paper introduces the research background, the following describes the visual simulation system, system architecture, introduced the three-dimensional view subsystem functions and status. Based on the theory of electronic warfare subsystems defined three-dimensional browsing function and meaning , and construct a mathematical model of radar detection range . Then as a theoretical basis, via OpenGL technology to achieve a three-dimensional battlefield electronic countermeasures browsing, built realistic battlefield environment . Final details of 3D viewing subsystem design and implementation methods , a new OpenGL-based three-dimensional scene construction method , and studied the effect of three-dimensional scene weather implementation techniques . Visual simulation system was successfully developed for the electronic countermeasures unit provides a virtual visualization training , scientific research platform , very good to make up for the lack of combat training . Meanwhile , three-dimensional panoramic view subsystem provides a virtual battlefield environment also become a major highlight of the system .
