Medical research purposes in the knowledge era, the rapid development of biomedical and medical evidence popularity of the concept makes more dependent on information and knowledge updating to overcome the disease. Medical students as future clinical practice and medical research reserve army, the requirements of their information literacy has become a global gold standard for practicing physicians. However, the current domestic medical institutions conducted a literature-based information retrieval course there are still many shortcomings literacy education. This study aims to make comprehensive use of qualitative and quantitative research methods, developed for medical students to learn our online information literacy education website, anywhere, anytime to solve medical students personalized, diversified information needs to make more medical students and doctors improve information literacy and lifelong learning. (2) our online information literacy education in the teaching of form and content, there are still a single teaching mode, grasp the meaning of information literacy is not comprehensive, cooperative teaching mechanism is not perfect and other issues. (3) medical information literacy training is a gradual process of strengthening and consolidating constantly, throughout the medical students has always been, and should therefore be for the information needs of different grades, the establishment of a multi-level teaching objectives, teaching content and teaching methods supporting diverse Information Literacy Education mode. Conclusions (1) using the concept of information literacy education a comprehensive reform of the current higher education system and the educational model will become an inevitable trend, medical students online information literacy education network development and realization of this trend has played a role in fueling. (2) The innovation of this study lies in the information problem-solving model applied to medical information literacy education among students through gradual steps to learn the basic information retrieval and evaluation methods. (3) limitation of this study is that the user need to expand the scope of radiation, based on the user experience periodic satisfaction surveys mechanism needs improvement.
