Digital substation power system is now the subject of a frontier , on behalf of the power system substation future direction of development . Ensure that the user power quality is the key to ensure a stable and reliable power supply . Unlike digital substation simulation techniques using new digital technology and equipment and calibration methods, but how to ensure that the digital substation relay protection system reliability remains a key issue , this paper will focus on the digital protection systems to digital substation the application of technology in the context of the Expo site , focusing on key equipment protection systems - electronic transformer , merging units , switches, relays, optical fiber communication network reliability design a study . 1 ) By comparing conventional and digital substation substation analyzed relative to conventional digital substation substation advantage. 2 ) By comparing with conventional transformer electronic transformer advantages and disadvantages , from the principle of its error and reliability are analyzed .3 ) . Studied electronic transformer error test , gives its experiments. 4 ) After studies excluded discrete noise impact on the transformer Accuracy verify the reliability of the electronic transformer . 5 ) . With application examples , analysis of the optical fiber communication network protection system reliability function , from the sampling circuit to the DC control circuit are greatly improving the overall system reliability. 6 ) The study of the digital equipment calibration techniques . Taking into account the conventional analog-based relay protection system calibration methods are difficult to apply to digital equipment , in order to ensure the reliability of digital equipment , proposed a new calibration technique . 7 ) . Pair of digital substation relay protection system fault tree modeling, fuzzy colored Petri nets fuzzy inference calculations on various components of the fault tree confidence calculations and found that one of the key factors and components , the system has failed analysis . Expo station put into operation two years, the protection systems are running well, the correct rate of 100% protection action , and did not protect the malfunction occurred accident , after the actual operation shows that the digital substation relay protection system is reliable.
