Analysis on Training of Geographic Literacy of High School Students

The National literacy is the key to the prosperity of a country and nation and the continued development of the foundation . Recent years , as one of the important part of the national literacy geographic literacy education has caused great concern for geography education sector at home and abroad , to train with geographic literacy has become a value orientation of basic education in many countries . The new high school geography curriculum reform has laid a solid foundation for the in-depth development of geographic literacy education in our secondary schools . In this paper, the theme of geographic literacy , the use of literature and other methods from the connotation of geographic literacy teaching practice to develop students' geographic literacy countermeasures angle , depth thinking about how to cultivate the geographic literacy of high school students . This thesis is divided into five parts . The first part is an introduction , mainly introduces the research background , the study of theory and research methods . The second part discusses the theoretical analysis from the point of view of the meaning of geographic literacy , high school students must profiling based on geographic literacy . The third part discusses the significance of training geographic literacy of high school students . The fourth part Countermeasures training geographic literacy of high school students . Based on analysis of previous theoretical research and practice , mainly from the point of view of high school geography education practice , focusing on basic countermeasures proposed geographic literacy of high school students in the geography classroom teaching and extra-curricular activities in the culture . Part V Conclusion: the geographic literacy education in the classroom teaching a long way to go , because it is the overall optimization of the process of teaching , the need for front-line teachers continue to explore and practice .
