As an important social trend, ecofeminism, which causes widespread concern on the 20th century 80’s, is opposed to the pressure on women and nature and advocates combining the women’s liberation and environmental protection. Val Plumwood is a representative of ecological feminism, she uses unique perspective comment on the traditional dualism of Western rationalism in the structure, deep ecology etc. And also she calls on the love of nature and women. She advocates the establishment of new ecological self-care and ethical thought. Her theories and views are an important part of ecofeminism and cause great repercussions.This paper points out her criticism of the traditional rationalist and reconstruction of the ethics. Her main idea is to analyze and summarize. In the introduction to her thought, her analysis of dualism under the traditional western rationalism is more important. At the same time she thinks we should reconstruct of ecological ethics, based on those who sympathize with him. In the evaluation of Plumwood, the author analyzes the characteristics of her thought, points out a lot of critical perspectives and ethical concern for dialogue and exchange. In the addition, the author tries to compare her theory with other feminist representative to point out the importance of thinking. In the end, the author plans to reflect and value her thinking, expounds its practical significance, and points out its limitation.
