Confucius Institute is a major international carrier to the transmission of Chinese.Since 2004,the world’s first Confucius Institute go publicin Seoul,Korea,to 2010,the world has set up more than 300 Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classroom,distributing in 88 countries and regions,which shows the high speed of development of Confucius Institutes,and which is worthy of recognition.However,in the process of rapid development inevitably exists certian problems,besides Confucius Institute is a pioneer for international spread of Chinese,lacking of experience to draw on,then how to implement the Scientific Concept of Development in the construction of the Confucius Institute and to achieve Long-term sustainable development of the Confucius Institute is a very urgent research topic we are going to facing with that has both strategic importance and practical significance.This paper firstly described the content,Four basic characteristics and significance of Education For International Understanding.secondly,summed up the development of several now day’s representative countries by the literature method,analyzed the cultural significance of the spreading and the problems during development.Thereby proposed the practical significance of the construction of Confucius Institute under the vision of Education For International Understanding.Then carried out the study of the implementation model in the context of Education for International Understanding:the goal of the research about Confucius Institute in Education for International Understanding can be divided into primary,,intermediate and advanced goal targets, in turn the corresponding goals are knowledge,attitudes,hought and ability.Finally,proposed the specific approach and practical measures of permeating Education for International Understanding in the Confucius Institute:to establish the new concept of Education for International Understanding,to permeate Education for International Understanding in the Confucius Institute’s teaching,to stress the school-based curricula in the construction of the Confucius Institute.
