Since the concept of the robot since the creation of the various functions of the robot have been developed . It is hoped that the robot can help humans work and make yourself from a variety of tedious labor freed . With the development of accelerated aging of the population , need to be taken care of the elderly are growing , but the increasingly fast pace of life of young people , do not have enough time to take care of the elderly at home . This article is based on such a situation, design a smart home surveillance robots , so that the robot can help us in everyday life care for the elderly . In this paper, an image processing technology to track the movement of human and identify the body falls ; CAMSHIFT algorithm using improved tracking of moving human body ; using speech recognition technology to judge the intrusion of strangers ; fuzzy control method to control the robot freely patrol robot tracking human . The main achievement of the robot automatic cruise function , monitoring alarm function after falls among the elderly and monitoring alarm function after intrusion of strangers . In the indoor environment , to achieve good results , the paper can be used in the design of robotic home security , interior elderly care . In the near future, perhaps this type of robots will become an indispensable good helper family .
