Research of visualization technology in the virtual test of missile is a child task of the item. Through the research of the task, it can come true that the simulation of the launch aviate and attack of missile. It can realize the 3D visualization test process and dynamic vision of virtual space. It applies look-in window for the research and the test of the missile. It is significant the quality and the efficiency of the test.The aim of this project is to realize the dynamic display of virtual space and 3D visualization model, and to simulate the whole process of missile flight, guidance and attack target, by using scene modeling and simulation technology. With the background of missile virtual test, the project studies the application and principle of scene simulation software and three types of 3D modeling and scene simulation software, VRML/Java3D, 3D Max/OpenGL and Creator/Vega. Finally Creator / Vega method is used to develop missile virtual test visualization software through analysis.Using object oriented thinking for analysis of simulation cells, as the basis to real missile guidance process, this thesis designs the platform on the component program idea and encapsulations all scene simulation cells as components, develops scene simulation components by ATL template library.This thesis establishes ballistic simulation procedures and scene simulation components data transfer interface, studies the coordinate conversion method between world coordinates and trajectory coordinates, combines missile spatial location coordinates, missile visual model coordinates and 3D scene world coordinates organically, makes missile flight visualization.On the basis of in-depth study of scene simulation modeling technology, MutiGen Creator, the scene modeling software, is chosen to construct the 3D model and 3D scene which the Scene Simulation need. And the technology of improving the real-time performance by modeling is further studied.The paper studied Vega including LynX graphical interface and application program interface API, analysis the key technologies of scene display and driver。Finally,with the Visual C + + software development platform, and real-time interactive mode, the secondary development of the Vega software API function provided a more feature rich rendering for three-dimensional modeling of missile component.The application to be used by the test and users indicates that this software achieves the purpose of real-time scene simulation
