The physical quantity of forest resources and assets is the basis of value of assessment survey. which provides asset ownership of forest resources, forest land or forest type of quantity, quality and content of spatial location and other important.First, the paper study the current status of GIS development at home and abroad, technical features, implementation methods and GIS in forestry production application. And described development and implementation of the components of GIS, and implementation of the technical characteristics of GIS technology is proposed based on C# development language and the component technology of ArcGIS Engine, combined with GIS and forest resources of the physical volume of theoretical investigation standards and other key technologies. The forests, trees, forest land survey project of Dong fanghong Forestry Farm in Heilongjiang Province to study the physical quantity instance, to achieve forest, trees, forest land accounted for physical quantity survey research and geographic information system established.The study is from the real work needs of the investigation of the physical quantity of forest resources, according to the amount of forest in-kind investigation technical standards and field investigation, data processing and other characteristics within the industry to "3S" technology, databases, computer-based high-tech oriented constructed based on the physical volume of GIS data on forest assets accounting system, To achieve the form of stand-alone applications on windows form. Implementation of spatial data and attribute data, add, modify, delete, display, query, analyze the organization and management, and use Layer display of control scale, multi-level data to realize the seamless integration of automatic control.Meanwhile, the completion of the project investigated physical quantity of forest resources to achieve digital data management, modeling, visualization provides a pre-condition of forest resources and assets will greatly enhance the accuracy of the physical volume of investigation, field investigation to reduce the labor intensity, improve efficiency, for scientific, objective and accurate assessment of the magnitude of value of forest resources and assets to provide reliable basic data, for economic development of forestry, forestry is changing in the traditional business model, to further revitalize the forest resource assets, particularly state-owned forest resources and the preservation of assets value is important to ensure that our province where forest, trees, forest land work actively and steadily push forward.
