With the world becoming increasingly serious energy crisis, wind energy as a clean, natural resources are increasingly subject to national attention. Development of wind power industry has become the consensus of the world. Wind energy is clean, safe, unlimited features, is the largest commercial development conditions and development prospects of the natural energy sources. As the current chosen fan blades are imported epoxy resin, high cost, is not conducive to the use and localization. Based on this, the paper carried out for fan blade epoxy vinyl ester resin synthesis and application of research. First, the paper examines the synthesis of epoxy vinyl ester resin main factors to optimize the epoxy vinyl ester resin polymerization reaction conditions: E-51 and methacrylic acid molar ratio of 1:2.1 materials; catalyst for the three ethylamine, the total amount of the reaction raw materials 0.5% (m); polymerization inhibitor is hydroquinone, the total amount of the reaction raw materials 0.04% (m); the reaction temperature is controlled at 120 ± 5 ℃. In this reaction, the reaction for 4 hours, methacrylic acid conversion rate of about 95%. On the process for an intermediate product characterized by IR, indicating that E-51 and methacrylic acid in the reaction is E-51 epoxy ring-opening esterification with methacrylic acid. Then, the paper uses methyl ethyl ketone peroxide as initiator, naphthenic drilling fluid to promote the synthesis of agent for curing epoxy vinyl ester resin, with added initiator and accelerator increases, the epoxy vinyl ester resin condensate gel time becomes shorter, the exothermic peak becomes large: the promoter and initiator is added at 1-3%, respectively, the gel time can be adjusted within the range 16min to 72min; the longer gel time, the more exothermic peak small. Also investigated the initial curing temperature and heat treatment on post-curing epoxy vinyl ester resin properties, and with imported epoxy resin for wind turbine blades compared to the mechanical properties, in addition to slightly lower elongation at break, put thermal peak height values, the other mechanical properties are met or exceeded imports for fan blade mechanical properties of epoxy resin, and in the process also has a low viscosity, high reactivity, room temperature curing advantages. Finally, the paper also epoxy vinyl ester resin to achieve a 1L, 100L, 1000L progressively larger reactor test results showed that progressively larger epoxy vinyl ester resin product characterization data consistency, consistent product performance, stability enlarge good, easy to industrial scale production. Synthetic epoxy vinyl ester resin produced by wind turbines in Inner Mongolia Chifeng Hedley actual hook wind field experiments, experienced a severe test of the low-temperature (-45 ℃), wind generators everything is normal. Show epoxy vinyl ester resin can be used as fan blades produce resin. Cost-effective.
