With the traffic problem is becoming more and more important, the rapid development of information technology and the perfection of traffic theory, real-time adaptive traffic signal control system for (?,?,?,?,?) The trend of the development of the access control system, is an important part of intelligent transportation systems. Based on the existing urban traffic signal control system, especially the characteristics of adaptive signal control system and working principle has carried on the detailed analysis, and points out the existing problems of adaptive control system. On this basis, this paper puts forward a real-time feedback adaptive traffic signal control system architecture models, and corresponding control strategy under the architecture. Control methods are divided into two layers: control layer and intersection control layer region. Intersection control layer using an adaptive algorithm based on dynamic programming, the prediction model was improved to increase the feedback mechanism and self-adjusting mechanism: regional control layer using A decision tree optimization algorithm based on conflict, using the A * algorithm make the algorithm supports larger calculation, using the rolling optimization method to enhance the reliability and robustness of the algorithm. Through the VISSIM simulation experiment, the results show that the proposed adaptive traffic signal control method for real-time feedback relative to the traditional methods in vehicle delays etc on indicators have improved significantly.
