With the rapid development of social economy, the problems brought by excessive growth of the vehicles are emerging inevitably, such as the tense traffic, progressive traffic accidents, too much vehicles, etc. Such problems are increasingly affecting people’s lives and social development. Despite there being some vehicle management system, the fact that lacking of uniform standard restricts large-scale centralized dispatch and management. Therefore, reasonable vehicle dispatch and management with a uniform standard become a vital problem to be addressed.Aiming at the issues of centralized dispatch and remote management, this paper researched and designed the application of OMA DM standard in vehicle remote management system. The concrete achievements are as following:1. Based on OMA DM Standard, this paper analyzed the domestic conditions of vehicle management in depth. In particular, in light of relevant literature at home and abroad, this paper accomplished overall system design and function design through the systematic analysis of vehicle remote management system.2. The paper designed thoroughly the communication mechanism between remote vehicle management center and vehicle terminal based on OMA DM standard. Besides, a further research and design were made on management objects and management operation information exchange mechanism for vehicle information monitoring and terminal software update.3. The paper proposed the framework based on J2EE for remote vehicle management centre. Moreover, this paper made the stratified design as well as implementation for remote management modules based on OMA DM protocol.4. The paper designed the function structure and software structure based on vehicle the management demands and OMA DM standard, implemented the DM client and DM tree in detail, and achieved vehicle information monitoring client as well as software terminal updating client.According to previous work, this paper completed the testing and analysis of the system, verified the stability of the framework and the accuracy of the communication mechanism. The test results showed that the vehicle remote management system and communication mechanism design in this paper. It can effectively manage the remote vehicle, and solve the problems of lacking uniform standard for reasonable vehicle management in an efficient way.
