Translator’s Subjectivity from a Perspective of Feminist Translation Theory

The traditional translation theory has obscured the subjectivity of the translator , emphasizing the invisibility of the translator , with the translation of the \and questioned people started to pay attention to the translator behind the scenes , has been prominent in the subjectivity of the translator . In the field of translation studies , feminist translation theory translator subjectivity research provides a unique perspective of gender , to broaden the theory of translation studies . This article examines from a feminist perspective highlights the role of translation theory translator subjectivity . Stressed the equal status of the translation with the original , the translator and author . Feminist translation theory is that translation is the creative rewriting process is a creative writing program rebellious and alternative faithful translation should be faithful to the translator and the author to participate . Selected two classic feminist works and their translations comparative analysis to examine feminist translation theory translation process and the specific application of the theory in the process of translation from the practice of translation . The paper selects Wang Anyi novella \In addition, this paper analyzes and compares the three translations of \The analysis of this work , this article focuses on the impact of gender on the subjectivity of the translator from the interview with translator and translated sequence mining . Through comparative analysis show that the gender identity of the translator translator subjectivity play process plays an important role in female translator in a more accurate understanding and expression of the original feminist consciousness and color statement and content place. Chinese and Western translator subjectivity highlight some differences in the process of translation , Chinese translator is more moderate , more inclined to traditional translation theory . The author hopes that Western feminist translation theory , be able to promote the theory of localization and more scholars working on feminist works and their translator and translated .
