This article is based on the Corpus discourse analysis in China this topic . This paper aims to use the means of corpus linguistics critical discourse analysis of the text , in order to reveal the relationship of embodied discourse which manufacture this topic in the Chinese text and awareness . Through this research , I hope that the Chinese media publicity awareness as well as its advocacy focus feasibility proposal . In this study, based on a self-built corpus - British news reports corpus . Text corpus from four different news media , \The the corpus capacity 417,460 -character text time span of ten years , from 2001 to 2011 . In this paper, a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods , analysis of the four key phrases : Made in China , Chinese manufacturing , Chinese products , the Chinese workers . According to Sinclair extended meaning model , this paper will describe the four key phrases with the word class connection , semantic trends and semantic prosody . In addition , the text contains the awareness and attitude will illustrate . The study found that the British media reported in China this topic , there are several trends : focus on coverage of the Chinese product quality , to show the difference of the attitude of the public and organizations , emphasizing the presence of competitors , and the forecast gloomy prospects in China . The media actor an important role in the ideological guidance of the public . By the unique advantages of the media , the British media has shaped the poor quality of Chinese products , the bleak prospects of the development of the manufacturing industry 's image . Also inked in introducing China's manufacturing competitors , as a warning to Chinese manufacturers .
