Design of Signal Processing Circuits for Linear Frequency Modulation Detection System Which is Based on FPGA

This thesis is based on radio digital IF Thought for millimeter wave FM ranging systems , designed on the basis of the range gate FPGA as the core hardware and software of the signal processing circuit , and ultimately realize the range of 0-20m distance fixed function . The paper first discusses the basic theory of the triangular wave FM signal transmitting frequency f0, frequency offset ΔF , the calculation of the modulation frequency fm and FIR digital filters . Then introduce the system core chip the Xilinx XC3S400 the selection and hardware circuit design . Software design , including the determination of the parameters of 5-channel FIR filter 3dB bandwidth , minimum stopband attenuation , call the Matlab filter design function firl , and Kaiserord access to meet index requirements FIR filter tap coefficients h (k) , and XC3S400 chip using Verilog HDL language programming in the 5-channel FIR filter . Finally comes through ISE Test Bench WaveForm tool the overall joint trial and error of the FIR filter simulation and system analysis.
