Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) technology as a new generation of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) in a key technology , are being more widely used . Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC) protocol is specifically used in the ETC a wireless communication protocol . Electronic toll Dedicated Short Range Communication \Analysis , the hierarchical structure of the DSRC protocol DSRC with the OSI reference model to do a comparison , focusing on the content of the data link layer of the analysis . On this basis , combining the characteristics of embedded Linux system , consider using the mechanisms provided by the operating system and components based on the specific requirements of the DSRC a complete set of DSRC implementations . Using C language appropriate choice of hardware platform based on the data link layer software , detailed description of the memory management software , timer management frame processing sub-module functions and principles . Pipelined design HDLC communication module design and FPGA implementation , a detailed description of the internal structure and principle of the frame reception and transmission of a frame module .
