With the rapid development of the computer technology, spatial technology and information technology, human community has already followed an information ages. The acquisition, processing and application of the spatial information have been the three greatly research focus. Though we have had greatly progress in means of the spatial data acquisition, the aspects about the quality, period and cost of the spatial data acquisition are needed to be enhanced improved. By the end of 80s in 20 centuries,in the aspect of many grades and 3D earth spatial information acquisition, LIDAR have produce the gross breakthrough, which offered a kind of completely new technical means for the high temporal-spatial resolution spatial information acquisition, which made the people in the aspect of data acquisition to change from traditional artificial single point to continual and automatic acquisition ,and which made the data processing automation and intellectualization to be possible. Though the development time of this kind of technology is shorter, the hardware technology has already satisfied to the production demand, while there still have some shortages about the after treatment of the data.This thesis discusses systemically the application of LIDAR and the theory and method of data filtering and classify. Firstly, this thesis introduces the development of LIDAR measuring high technology and domestic and international research present conditions. Secondly, this thesis discusses the system compositions and operational principle of LIDAR in detail; Finally, this thesis depicts all kinds of the filtering wave arithmetic; Based on this, we use three methods: Filtering of Least Square Method for Interpolation Polynomial, Filtering of Least Square Method for Interpolation Polynomial with moving window, Filtering of False Scanning Line Basing on Slope. And make quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the filtering results and get some conclusion.
