In the fifth chapter, through exemplification, the availability of old-building renovation is re-demonstrated. The conclusion part of the paper emphasizes that to demolish for rebuilding is not the only way for old-building reconstruction, while in the process of urban renovation and development, architects should go all out their efforts to have the architectural resources fully utilized, and to realize a consummate unification of economic benefit, social effect, and environmental efficiency.
