With the fast development of Chinese economy and the constantly improvement of Chinese international status, the Chinese language is warming up all around the world. Experimental teaching as an advanced education teaching idea has received as much as more concern with the situation of Chinese learning enthusiasm. Although the relating thinking and research have been done in recent years, the practice research is far from enough., how to make use of the experimental teaching in the field of Chinese teaching as a foreign language is much less. Therefore, I will discuss the experimental teaching how to use in the second language teaching on the basis of the existing researchThis thesis is divided into five sections:The first chapter is an introduction, displays the background and the significance of choosing this topic. Domestic and international literature review is introduced generally. The second chapter shows the definition of the experimental teaching and introduces the theoretical base and history of the experimental teaching. The paper, on the view of the characteristic of the experimental teaching, compares the experimental teaching to the task-oriental teaching so that we clear about what is experimental teaching. The third chapter, on the aspect of the practical teaching, is the teaching design of the experimental teaching which is used in an class of Chinese as the second language. The paper introduces the experimental teaching steps on the aspects of the preparation, activities and the results of these teaching methods. The fourth chapter analyses the factors, which are teachers, students, books and teaching environment, which affect the result of such teaching method in the middle of the teaching on the basis of the practical research. The fifth chapter makes a conclusion of this study.
