With the development of city bus technology and increasing requirement to city bus’s overall function, automobile electronics technology has been widely used in bus designing and producing. The application of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) has greatly enhanced the overall performance of city buses, such as comfort, safety, economy and so on. This application has apparently met the need of environment protection and configuration optimization of traffic resources. Thereby, city bus information integrated control network is frequently constructed and applied.Because there are a lot of unsolved problems information control systems, such as high cost, difficulty to maintain, and low flexibility of specific configuration, it is highly necessary to standardize the modules. The modules, based on standard composers, can conduct performance configuration according to practical requirements so as to construct different control modules to realize specific function. In this paper, city bus information integrated control network and the relative configuration technique are researched systematically and deeply, and engineering application is introduced. The main thesis jobs are as follows:(1) By using module design method and analyzing the architectural character of city bus information integrated control network, the concept of function modules is put forward, and the character of function modules are analyzed and generalized.(2) The method of performance module configuration oriented to client need is proposed, aiming at different function requirement of city bus information integrated control network. By studying the configuration method, a model for configuration is constructed along with the establishment of configuration rules, solving model, and configuration algorithm.(3) The design method of interface of function modules and protocol of application layer are also introduced in this paper, while customer demand is considered as lead factors, electronics character as input. Based on platform design method, function modules’ configuration platform is constructed for city bus information integrated control network.(4) Based on the research result, the paper develops BH bus information integrated information control modules, performs the overall testing, and verifies the practicality and engineering values of this technology.The work in the paper will provide technology support for the research and application of city bus information integrated control network, and promote its widespread application, which is also significant to the construction of industrial platform on city bus production.
