City bus information integrated control system is precisely for the development of automotive electronics technological, social demand of city bus, improving city bus traffic safety, expansion of city bus control function, increasing in value-added of products, and enhancing brand image of products. Then, how to adapt to market changes, technology development and policy requirements; accurately identifying customer needs; providing a clear, consistent, accurate, complete, detailed, feasible baseline document, for the professional designers in various fields, become the most important question to be settled urgently.There are many similar exchange methods in embedded system design and software system design. Reasonable use of the software engineering methods in embedded system design, will effectively enhance the rationality, accuracy of embedded system design, which would also effectively improve the system performance and design efficiency , reduce embedded system development periods and cost. City bus information integrated control system also belongs to the embedded systems. The introduction of software engineering methods applied to the design of city bus information integrated control system, which applies CAN networking technology, embedded technology, automotive electronic control technology, intelligent control technology and sensor technology. It would be of great significance to system design and formation of industrialization platform.In this paper, drawing the analysis process from engineering, referring to the development of embedded systems design process, in view of the specific are of city bus information integrated control system , with the introduction of the concept of requirements union, put forward the principle of decomposition original requirements, and decompose the original requirement information of city bus integrated control system. Combination of first order predicate logic, with object-oriented method, expressed demand for information. According to the based framework of EAST ADL. with tool of Rational Rose, adopted a "user-driven, domain-oriented requirements analysis method," established the requirements model for city bus information integrated control system, which defined the entente between users and developers and the process of the city bus information integrated control system requirements analysis. Finally, using UML, two-way engineering and the requirements matrix, mapped requirements information of city bus information integrated control system to every specialty fields, in three ways. It provided the design constraints to next phase of the system design for the various professional fields and basis for configuration reasoning, evaluation, in detailed design.
