Research on the Technology Transfer between Taiwan and Mainland of China

Recent years have witnessed the abnormal pattern of economy between Taiwan and Mainland of China with the trade and investment increasing.There are undoubtedly problems hidden,and the paper aims at resolving the problems mentioned .To the author’s point of view,it is of much importance to establish a new pole--technology transfer--to improve the economic relationship between Taiwan and Mainland of China. This paper analyses the foreign and domestic theories of international technology transfer.Then the paper studies reasons why Taiwan and Mainland of China should exchange technology by using the model of international technology transfer,which is followed by the analyzing the characteristics of technology transfer between Taiwan and Mainland of China.In addition,the paper discusses the modes of the technology transfer between Taiwan and Mainland of China.More important,this paper measures the degree of the existing technology transfer across strait through electing the index system.On the other hand,it values the effect of the technology transfer through econometric model.Finally,some suggestions are raised to improve the technology transfer across strait in the future.
